CureSearch hosts Eighth Annual ‘Reach the Day, Conquer Childhood Cancer’ event in Washington, D.C.
After a very long drive yesterday (Monday) from Dayton, Ohio to Washington D.C. the media team was greeted by members of CureSearch who were overjoyed with excitement at our cross-country adventure. Team’s One and Two - after completing their rides and a long drive to D.C. arrived in the early morning with barely enough time to get a quick nap and make it to the CureSearch event in our hotel where Ken Kiefer and Team Will members were honored by a jubilant crowd. After the morning activities, groups of parents with their children along with Team Will members set out on a short trip to the U.S. Capitol to meet their representatives to discuss the “Caroline Price Walker Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of 2008″ and many other issues regarding childhood cancer.
